Do you have what it takes to support a young person to grow, develop and get the most out of life? Are you able to support someone during times of significant mental health distress?
The role involves supporting a young person to live in her own home, this includes enabling the young person to plan her day, attend college, spend time with family and maintain her home. The young person also requires the staff team to provide emotional support and to maintain safety during times of distress.
This role is a highly rewarding role, you will be part of a 4:1 staff team, during times of mental health crisis this job role can be demanding at times. Staff will receive extensive training around borderline personality disorder training, positive behavioural support and management of violence and aggression.
You will be part of this new service and part of a team of staff providing 24-hour support to a young person who enjoys education, helping others and socialising. This is a great opportunity to be part of this new team developing this package of support.
